A girl's dream

A young girl grew up with fantasies,

Believing it will come true some day,

She did not know if she looked pretty,

But she knew her knight in shining armour is on his way,

Failures were a part of her life but that dint let her sway,

She knew she could turn her fate around but in dismay,

Over time she learned to swim with or against the tide,

She knew she could but was tired,

Tired of people telling her what she may or may not express,

Tired of her friends judging her through glances exchanged amongst them,

Tired of hypocrites, and worried of becoming one,

Eventually she decided to raise above these judgements and hipocracy,

She decided to stand by her values,

Her own friends judgements and stares still bothers her,

But she knows she is true to herself,

She faced her family, strengthened her bond with her husband and her child,

The larva transformed to become a butterfly,

Not that her life was smooth, but she had her knight and her loyal soldier with her,

Together they defended each other,

To the hypocrites they said let me live for Christ sakes

They needed no more friends, as they had eachother,

They understood they do not have to prove to the world that they are good for eachother,

As far as they know they are there for each other along with their youngling, and they stand together as a wolf pack.
